Christy Shepard is a native of Western North Carolina who spent most of her adult life living in the Chicago suburbs and other areas following her husband’s career path. Christy is a member of The Joan Everett Team.

Christy is a member of the Joan Everett Team and a native North Carolinian.
Christy has spent most of her adult life following her husband’s career path, moving numerous times through corporate relocation.
After many years residing in the Chicago suburbs, she and her husband now call Hickory their home.
Her family enjoys many outdoor activities, such as boating, wakeboarding, snow skiing, mountain biking, and hiking, all reasons they love being in Western North Carolina!
Prior to real estate, Christy’s career path included marketing, fundraising, event planning, and property management; she combines all of those skill sets to help in your real estate search.
She is extremely familiar with the local lake lifestyle and specializes in Lake James, Lake Norman, and Lake Hickory properties.
Having navigated the corporate moves many times, Christy is quite familiar with the challenges and opportunities involved with the relocation process.
Christy is also a Sellers' agent and is passionate about assisting you in each step of the home selling process. She also works as a buyers' agent and serves as a marketing strategist with the company.
