$399,000

10.10 beautiful acres located in Dunns Mountain area of East Rowan. 1464 sq ft, 2 bed, 1 bath home on the property that was built in 1960. House is pretty rough, but could be remodeled. A second 900 sq ft house is on the property that is currently being used for storage. A 300 sq ft storage building sets away from the house. Thinking of safety, back in the early sixties, an underground bomb shelter was built complete with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Truly a unique feature of the property! Located behind the house is a nice one acre pond that was stocked with fish in the past. Another small pond is currently dry, due to the lack of rain. The woods are really beautiful on this property! Lots of mature mixed hardwoods and pines! A nice walking path circles around the perimeter of the property through the forested area. This area would make a beautiful setting for a new home! With quite a bit of old equipment on the property, owner is planning on having a large yard sale soon to dispose of the excess stuff.
